Our Story.
Yuu Beauty Edinburgh was formed in 2007 by long-term friends and beauty specialists Claire Anderson and Karen Auld. Together, they created a leading salon that provides exceptional results. Thanks to the world class Soprano Titanium Laser Hair Removal, Soprano Titanium Skin Tightening, Dermapen, Cryopen and Vein Away Thread Vein Removal, Yuu has become one of the most revolutionary, forward-thinking beauty salons – not just in Edinburgh but the UK.
Our Philosophy.
The word ‘Yuu’, from the Japanese word ‘superior’, perfectly sums up the salon’s approach to its products and treatments. The salon was one of the first in Edinburgh and the UK to offer Dermapen, a technique so effective that it still remains one of Yuu’s popular treatments today.
Revolutionary therapies such as CACI Anti-Ageing facials and DermaQuest Resurfacers and Peels were soon to follow. Yuu Beauty is now renowned for offering exclusive and global treatments at affordable rates. Yuu Beauty also strive to deliver their clients incredible value by offering additional benefits to Beauty Club members, who for as little as £35 a month enjoy extra credit each month, 10% discount on retail products, priority booking, Sunday bookings, FREE skin consultations and 10% - 20% discounts on courses.
However, the treatments are only part of Yuu’s offering. In terms of its people, the therapists at Yuu are carefully selected for their outstanding knowledge, experience and skills, ensuring our clients receive the best skincare in Edinburgh. Yuu is 100% committed to maintaining the highest standards of therapy and firmly believes in rigorous training of all therapists on an ongoing basis.

Yuu Etiquette
We want you to get the most out of your Yuu Beauty experience so there’s just a few things to let you know…
Appointments
For any appointment over 15 minutes long, we charge a £20 deposit to secure the booking (which is deductible from the total treatment cost). Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Yuu Etiquette
To maintain our relaxing environment and to fully enjoy your Yuu experience, we respectfully ask that mobile phones are turned off before and during your visit.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours ahead of your appointment time otherwise you will lose your deposit of £20. Gift voucher bookings that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will have 50% deducted from the value.
Refund Policy
Any requests for a refund must be made in writing to claire@naturalaser.com within 28 days of purchase. Any refunds requested for unused sessions of Laser / Caci / HydraFacial courses will incur sessions deducted at full price and an administration charge of £50. Refunds are credited back on a client’s account and can be used for any other treatment within six months.
Health & Safety
For the interim we have had to implement the following guidelines due to Coronavirus:
- Please be on time for your appointment. You can now sit in the waiting area.
- Please attend your appointment alone
- Please fill out a consultation form which will be emailed prior to your appointment
- Sanitise your hands on entering Yuu Beauty and Yuu Nails
- Bring minimal belongings with you
- Your health and safety is very important to us at Yuu. Extra cleaning time has been allocated.
