Before your wax appointment, make sure you have at least 1/2 cm of hair from the root, so avoid shaving for a few weeks beforehand.

Using a brush or exfoliating glove, exfoliate the area before your appointment. This will prevent ingrown hairs & ensure better results on your next appointment.

Leave at least 24hrs before and after your wax appointment before going out in the sun or using sunbeds. Especially if you have sunburn on the area.

Wear comfy, breathable clothing to your appointment as the area will be sensitive & will need time to recover.

Bumps and redness are completely normal after your wax and should go away after 24-48 hours, especially if this is your first wax.

Avoid sunbathing after your wax, your skin will be sensitive and prone to burning, this includes sunbeds.

Apply After-Wax or Aloe-Vera to soothe and calm any redness.

Avoid getting a spray tan on the same day as your wax, as wax can stay on your skin which will

prevent the tan from taking its hold.

Avoid the use of deodorant, perfume or any other product on the area unless recommended by your therapist.

No hot baths or showers, use warm water only.

Refrain from exercise, swimming, using saunas or steam rooms.

Avoid touching the area to keep it clean and reduce the chances of irritation.

We recommend getting a wax every 4-6 weeks. Regular waxing increases your 'hair-free' time between appointments - so NO SHAVING. Waxing reduces the thickness of hairs that grow back so your next wax is quicker and pain-free!

Keep the area well moisturised and exfoliated to reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.
